With over 25 years in the industrial distribution business, Billy Hodes has experienced every stage of entrepreneurship. He grew up in a family business, worked alongside his brothers, acquired and expanded his own company, and later navigated a merger and private equity partnership. After selling his company in 2023, he turned his focus to real estate investment while exploring his next adventure.

Now, as a Growth Catalyst with Acumen, Billy is passionate about helping business owners and CEOs sharpen their leadership, navigate challenges, and drive meaningful growth. Having experienced firsthand the power of peer advisory, he is committed to fostering strong communities of accountability and wisdom.

Billy and his wife, Mara, have been married for 29 years and are proud parents of eight children. They love spending time with family, enjoying their retreat at Lake Viking, traveling, and staying active in their parish and community.

I was blessed with the opportunity to work with an advisory council in the early years of owning my first business. My advisory team provided wisdom, thoroughness, and professionalism, guiding me through some very challenging business environments. These experiences taught me the art of having tough conversations that lead to more positive outcomes. I enjoy helping fellow business owners and CEOs find solutions to complex challenges. I know firsthand the vital role an advisory group and support system can play in developing leaders and driving the success of a growing business.
