I’ve been fortunate to be an Acumen Partner for 2 1/2 years, and have personally experienced Acumen’s direct positive impact on my business. I’ve also developed lifelong friendships with many incredible business peers. I was humbled to be asked to serve such a great organization and community as a Growth Catalyst in Kansas City!
CEOs today face a wide range of challenges, but I believe these two are the most significant:
1) Providing sufficient clarity around strategic decision-making
2) Building, engaging, and retaining high-performing teams
I’m recharged when I stick to a consistent daily rhythm! I make it a priority to get 8-9 hours of sleep every night and am very regimented about going to bed and getting up at the same time every day. When I wake up, I take our dog out for an early morning walk and then exercise. To really set my day off on the right track, my wife and I always eat breakfast together, listen to Lectio365, and then pray together.
